We offer a couple of different classes depending on the level of support required for each child.
Please choose from the below classes.
Class topics include:
Algebra, geometry, number, statistics, probability, ratio, proportion.

GCSE MATHS FOUNDATION

SEND AN ENQUIRY

For pupils who are feeling frustrated, confused or overwhelmed & would like specialist support to help bring them in line with their peers.

£20 per week | term time only

Mondays 6pm – 6:55pm

GCSE GRADES 6–7

For pupils who are in need of some extra support to keep on track for those higher 6-7 grades. This class has a focus on supporting students to achieve a strong grade 6-7 pass in Maths.

Fridays 5pm – 5:55pm

GCSE GRADES 7–9

For pupils who are falling behind with their higher 7-9 grades target. This class has a focus on supporting students to achieve a strong grade 7-9 pass in Maths.

Tuesdays 7pm – 7:55pm

All classes are hosted on Zoom and are recorded and stored in your online portal on TutorBird.

YEAR 10 MATHS

For pupils who are aiming to sit the higher paper in Year 11. You might need some support to understand the more complex topics or the opportunity to flex those Maths muscles for the very top grades. This class will focus on Higher paper topics only. Once you have sat your first mock exam, we can streamline you even further.

Lorraine is a highly qualified teacher with over 20 years experience and consistently excellent results. She loves to work with those children who say “I’m no good at Maths” or “My teacher doesn’t like me”. As a mum of four school-age children, with varying needs and abilities, she understands the importance of knowing the individual and how to get the best out of them.

grades 5 & 7-9 – lorraine

Greg is a lead practitioner with outstanding skills and a wealth of experience. Greg will provide individual support during lessons with tasks differentiated to meet your child’s needs. He will raise your child’s confidence to tackle the harder topics in school and get them back on track with their grades. They won’t feel stressed or pressured, they will be part of a little team all working towards a common goal. Greg will provide weekly homework to make sure your child understands exactly what they are learning. We will go through their answers in the following lesson to double check. Greg will stay in touch with you via Tutorbird and Whatsapp, offering any support you need. He will also work through past papers with lots of exam practice time.
