This Spring, students will explore six key poems from the Power & Conflict cluster, including Tissue, Poppies, Prelude, War Photographer and The Emigree. Across eight Saturday sessions, we’ll look closely at language, structure, and meaning, unpack tricky quotations,
and develop skills to compare poems confidently.
The following seven sessions will focus on the Love & Relationships cluster. Students will explore Porphyria’s Lover, The Farmer’s Bride, Neutral Tones, and When We Two Parted. We’ll focus on themes, language, and structure, and practice comparing poems in a clear, step-by-step way.
